Florida State Rep. Randy Fine (R), who is the staunchest supporter of Israel, and opponent of antisemitism in Florida and in Florida politics, has just filed a legislative measure to “allocate $35 million in emergency funding” for Florida’s Jewish community.
Rep. Fine, who recently flipped his endorsement from Governor Ron DeSantis to former President Donald Trump, stated that the appropriate would go to protect. synagogues, Holocaust museums, cultural centers, and Jewish day schools across the state.
Rep. Fine’s bill is almost assured to pass as the Republican-led state legislature, including Speaker Paul Renner and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, have called for a special session to directly address the war in Israel, and support for Israelis and Jewish Americans here in Florida.
In addition, Fine recently told The Floridian that members of the U.S. Congress, namely Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the rest of the “Squad,” who all opposed supporting Israel during a recent House floor vote.
“They should be expelled from Congress. They are terrorists,” said Fine. “They are more focused on these Arabs in Gaza than they are on American hostages that are held there. That is treason.”
Just filed HB 7C for the special session which will allocate $35 million in emergency funding to protect Florida’s Jewish day schools, synagogues, Holocaust museums, and cultural centers. The Florida Legislature is stepping up to protect Florida’s Jews. Few will ever know…
